**ALL CATS SHOULD BE TESTED**
Roundworms can be transmitted from contaminated stool and soil. A large percent of kittens are born with roundworms transmitted through the mother's tissue.
Roundworms can cause a pot-bellied appearance, vomiting, and diarrhea. Roundworms can be diagnosed with fecal testing, therefore ensuring appropriate treatment. Since prevention is key, roundworms can be easily prevented with the monthly chewable Heartgard Plus. Heartgard Plus prevents not only heartworms but roundworms and hookworms as well.
